Punky gothic garage the Horrors -- Faris Rotter, Joshua Third, Tomethy Furse, Spider Webb and Coffin Joe -- formed in Southend, England, in 2005.
'Psychotic Sounds for Freaks and Weirdos,' the subtitle of their 2007 debut album, 'Strange House,' was devised by fans on the Horrors' forum, known as The Horum.
The video for their song 'Sheena Is a Parasite' was directed by Chris Cunningham and features Oscar nominee Samantha Morton in the title role.

How did you find Chris Cunningham?
He was a fan and phoned up our label and asked if he could make a video for us. We then bonded over our love of bad things.
How do you choose your Halloween gigs?
We only play on consecrated ground.
What can America expect from the new LP?
An antidote to the filth you currently have permeating your charts. Only joking: Expect a band that goes bump in the night.
