- The two original members, Josh Ostrander and Greg Lyons, started playing together with Laguardia -- a rock band signed to Universal.
- Maura Davis of Denali and frontwoman of Ambulette provided vocals for 'Hollywood,' off of 2007s 'Ameritown.'
- Before being signed to Suretone Records, Ostrander and Lyons worked as landscapers during the day and recorded music at night.
