Mando Diao -- Gustav Noren, Bjorn Dixgard, Carl-Johan Fogelklou, Samuel Giers and Mats Bjorke -- formed in Borlange, Sweden, in 1999.
The poppy garage band says its name is meaningless -- it came to Dixgard in a dream.
