  1. The Glasgow-based Cinematics -- Scott Rinning, Ramsay Miller, Adam Goemans and Ross Bonney -- all originally hail from Dingwall, in the Scottish Highlands.
  2. The New Wave-influenced quartet's debut album, 'A Strange Education,' was produced by Stephen Hague (Pet Shop Boys, New Order).
  3. In 2006, the group toured the U.K. with We Are Scientists, whose bassist, Chris Cain, appears in the video for the Cinematics' single 'Break.'
