- 'Psychotic Sounds for Freaks and Weirdos,' the subtitle of their 2007 debut album, 'Strange House,' was devised by fans on the Horrors' forum, known as The Horum.
- The video for their song 'Sheena Is a Parasite' was directed by Chris Cunningham and features Oscar nominee Samantha Morton in the title role.
