The Long Blondes' debut release was produced by Pulp bassist Steve Mackey.
The female-fronted five-piece was formed in Sheffield, England in 2003.
The Long Blondes avoid declaring their genre but have been referred to as "a stylish blend of new wave, pop and art-punk."

What's the biggest misconception about your band?
That we can't play our instruments! Our fault, we spread that around...
What did Erol Alkan bring to your record?
Vintage synths and a stroke of genius.
What director would you want to work to create a soundtrack?
David Lynch because his films are totally otherworldly.
