Five Facts about Earlimart
1. While the band named itself after an inland town in California, Earlimart's members actually met outside of Los Angeles.
2. Earlimart's idea of a dream tour includes sharing a bill with fellow California bands Silversun Pickups, Great Northern, Pine Marten, Let's Go Sailing, Irving, and Grandaddy (to name a few).
3. Frontman Aaron Espinoza is also an accomplished sound engineer and has lent his studio talents to Silversun Pickups, Irving and Grandaddy.
4. Espinoza's recording studio, the Ship, has been visited by some of his biggest heros including the Breeders, Elliott Smith and Folk Implosion. Now, it serves as a haven for local bands to practice and assist each other.
5. Earlimart's fourth CD, 2004's 'Treble & Tremble,' was heavily influenced by Elliott Smith's unexpected passing the previous year.

What are bloggers saying about Earlimart?
-- "It features finely assembled baroque pop ... it also takes that fine tuning in other directions.
"
-- "... diverse and at times quietly devastating record that more than makes up for their extended grace period"
-- "Espinoza's vocals are great, and when Ariana Murray (who usually sings backup) steps forward and solos for two songs, it just gets better. When I recommend a purchase over a download, you know that's high praise. Buy this now."
