Five Things About Josh Rouse
1. Rouse came up with the album title 'Country Mouse, City House' while on a 70-mile pilgrimage through Spain.
2. He writes about cities and his travels because he says it gets boring writing about "me, me, me and my broken heart."
3. While on tour with John Mayer, he met Billy Joel who, according to Josh, commented on his music saying that "It's nice to hear good songs again."
4. Neil Young is his absolute favorite '70s singer.
5. He has a side project called She's Spanish, I'm American with his longtime Spanish girlfriend Paz Suay.

What are bloggers saying about Josh Rouse?
-- "Rouse, himself, proves himself a master of ceremonies, playing guitars, piano, tambo, seashells and organ on the track ..."
-- "Country Mouse City House, is a bit more accessible because he allows for his influences to shine a little brighter. The twang and the best parts of the 70's, the groove and the storytelling side."
-- "As always he calls on some of the most familiar sounds of the past to create something entirely new."
