Five Facts about Kate Nash
1. The singer-songwriter's career catapulted after Lily Allen placed Nash as one of her Top 8 friends on myspace.
2. Nash began writing music when she was just 13.
3. Nash was originally more interested in acting, and auditioned for the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She however, was rejected.
4. Initially wanting to release all of his albums independently, Costa only decided to sign with Brushfire because he felt that the label offered him a place to be creative with family support.
5. Nash's band includes guitarist Jay Malhotra from Fortess Forever! and drummer Elliot Andrews, who has recorded with the Maccabees.
