1. Lead singer Zach Schwartz formed the band after he lost his job during the '90s dot-com bust.
2. Schwartz accidentally electrocuted guitarist/keyboardist Gram LeBron during a live show.
3. When looking for bandmates, Schwartz used the powers of Craigslist.com to find talented musicians who enjoyed the same music as he did.
4.Schwartz says that at several "less-than-well attended shows" they played sitting on the floor mingling with their audience.
5.Drummer Pat Spurgeon finally recieved a much-needed kidney transplant this past January.
