Five Facts about Stars
1. In addition to Stars, Amy Millan, Evan Cranley and Torquil Campbell play in indie rock supergroup Broken Social Scene, which also includes fellow Canadian rockers Feist and Emily Haines of Metric, among others.
2. The song 'Your Ex-Lover Is Dead,' off the band's 3rd CD 'Set Yourself on Fire,' made its way onto Fox's 'The O.C.' as well as the hit Canadian teen drama 'Degrassi: The Next Generation.'
3. Stars' siren Amy Millan released a solo album in 2006 entitled 'Honey from the Tombs.
4.Torquil Campbell has dabbled in acting with appearances in 'Sex and the City' and 'Law & Order.'
5.Pat McGee, of the Richmond, Virgina's Pat McGee Band, played drums on 2004's 'Set Yourself on Fire.'
