1. Voxtrot is a mashup of two words -- Vox, a brand of amplifiers, and the Foxtrot dance step.
2. Lead singer Ramesh Srivastava has said he would choose Paul McCartney hands-down if he could perform with any artist, living or dead.
3. Voxtrot formed in 2002 and hails from Austin, Texas.
4. It is rumored that Srivastava moved to Glasgow, Scotland to befriend his musical heroes Belle and Sebastian.
5. The first EP Voxtrot released was a self-made CD-R, sold only at a independent Austin record stores.
