8. Pepsi Uses the Ramones' 'Blitzkrieg Bop'

Product: Diet Pepsi

The Pitch: "It's a kick-ass song that embodies the antiauthoritarian punk spirit! And Pepsi is the spiky-haired, leather-jacketed punk rock of soda pop brands! Think we can get the band to sing 'Guzzle guzzle hey'?"

Lyrics You Don't Hear: In this catchy little ditty that seems to equate dancing with being strafed by Nazis, you never get to hear the line about shooting people in the back. There's a reason the only bit that's really intelligible is "Hey! Ho! Let's go!"

Sellout Quotient: 2/10
The Ramones can't really do much to stop this, being that most of them are dead. But shouldn't their ghosts be haunting the ad execs responsible?

Beyonce Responsibly
